America may be just a little bit divided at the moment, but there’s at least one thing everyone can agree on – and that’s New Balance’s ability to turn out fire kicks. The latest release from the Boston brand is a revived version of the Made in USA 585 in an all-new colourway. The mid-top runner, first released in 1995 and brought back last year, is made from a retro-inspired mix of premium suede and mesh in aqua, orange and burgundy against a grey sole. All of which praises the star-spangled banner without going full red, white and blue – a Bruce Springsteen concert, this is not. The New Balance Made In USA 585AIL is available at StockX, priced around £162.
