Few collaborations carry this much history. This season, Levi’s and Barbour have joined forces to celebrate the craftsmanship, utility, and endurance that built their reputations. Both brands were born from necessity — Levi Strauss outfitting gold miners in California, John Barbour shielding North Sea fishermen from the elements — and both went on to define global style through practicality.
Now, decades later, they’ve come together to reimagine their shared DNA in the Levi’s x Barbour Collection, launching October 30.

The capsule captures the essence of both worlds — the rugged Americana of denim and the weathered durability of waxed cotton. Every piece feels intentional, designed to age beautifully and tell its own story through wear.
The outerwear, all made from a special Barbour waxed fabric with higher beeswax content, evolves like raw denim — building patina and character with time. It’s functional design with soul, the kind of clothing that earns its luxury through longevity.

Available in dark navy wax and a denim workwear version, the Bedale is Barbour’s 1980 classic, reworked through Levi’s design lens. The waxed model features branded snaps, tonal arcuate stitching, and a detachable hood. The denim edition blends copper rivets and moleskin pockets with Barbour’s two-way zip and corduroy collar.

The Type II Waxed Jacket and Type II Denim Jacket combine Levi’s archival trucker silhouette with Barbour’s heritage materials. Each one carries tartan linings, throat tabs, and ring-pull zippers — design signatures from both houses stitched into a single story.

Denim and corduroy meet again in the collection’s trousers. The 568 Loose Jeans channel ‘90s ease with archival interior prints of a Barbour fisherman and a Levi’s miner — two worlds of workwear meeting in one garment. The 578 Baggy Corduroys, made from the same green cord as Barbour’s jacket collars, bring the capsule full circle.
To celebrate, Levi’s and Barbour spotlight a new generation of creators — Lev Rosenbush, Andu Masebo, Ellie Mercer, and Shivas Howard Brown — each redefining craftsmanship in their own disciplines, from ceramics to jewelry to audio design.
It’s a fitting tribute: makers honouring makers, legacy meeting the present.

At its core, the Levi’s x Barbour partnership isn’t just about clothing — it’s about continuity. Two brands from opposite sides of the Atlantic, each forged by hard work and innovation, finding common ground in a shared respect for purpose and craft.
This is heritage made modern — not nostalgic, but alive.
Highlight Pieces: Oversized Bedale Jackets, Type II Jackets, 568 Loose Jeans, 578 Corduroy Trousers
